The 2.0-liter TDI engine of the VW T6 is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit, which does not cool the charge air with ambient air as usual, but with its own cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature leads directly to an improved cooling performance of the charge air.
